MAKE YOUR OWN ANTI-AGEING CARROT FACE MASK
Carrots are a rich source of Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Applying carrots to your skin can help prevent wrinkles, making this great anti-ageing facemask.

Carrots are a rich source of Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Applying carrots to your skin can help prevent wrinkles, making this great anti-ageing facemask. Honey fights against skin damage and ageing of the skin with its antioxidant properties. Olive oil is nourishing and helps maintain the elasticity of skin. Use this Anti-Ageing Carrot Face Mask once a week and youll help your skin promote regeneration of cells and keep your face looking fresh.
- 2 carrots
- 1 tbsp natural honey
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon
Peel the carrots, and then steam them until they are soft. Mash them in a bowl. Add in the honey, corn flour, olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice. Lemon juice will help clean oily skin but if you have dry skin, make sure to add only a few drops as it can be very astringent. If you have sensitive skin, leave out the lemon juice. Lemon juice can make your skin more photosensitive, so apply sunscreen in days after using this face mask.
Mix the ingredients together with a spoon. If you feel the mask is too thick, add a dash of water to make a consistency that can be applied to your face. You dont want the mask to be too runny, so be careful with this step as you dont want to add too much.
Pull back your hair and wash your face and neck, so theyre clean before you apply the mask all over your face and neck, avoiding your eyes and mouth. Leave on for 20-25 minutes. Use this time to relax properly. Wash the mask off and pat your skin dry.
It is recommended that you apply this face mask no more than 1-2 times a week. This face mask is best used immediately, but will keep in the fridge 1-2 days.
