MAKE YOUR OWN DETOX CELERY FACIAL STEAM
Celery is rich in magnesium, iron, chlorophyll, folic acid, vitamin C, also contains B vitamins, and vitamin E.

Celery is rich in magnesium, iron, chlorophyll, folic acid, vitamin C, also contains B vitamins, and vitamin E. Celery is a diuretic so help soothe puffy facial skin. All of the celery plant contains potent oils so this recipe uses the stalks and seeds as these are readily available in the shops.
4 sticks of celery
1 tsp celery seeds
A handful of celery leaves (optional)
500ml. boiled water
Wash the celery stalks. Slice them finely just before you intend to use them. If you have any celery leaves, chop them finely. Grind the celery seeds in a mortar and pestle. Place the sliced celery stalks, leaves and seeds in a bowl. Pour the boiling water over the celery to cover it and fill the bowl. Allow the water to cool slightly for 2-3 minutes. Place your face over the bowl. Hang a clean tea towel over your head so that it covers you and the bowl. Dont let your face touch the water.
Make sure you find a comfortable place to sit while you use this facial steam. Relax, close your eyes and inhale the aromas for 5 minutes. Stop immediately if you feel dizzy or overheated. Afterwards, use a toner to cool your skin and close the pores.
It is recommended that you apply this facial steam no more than 1-2 times a week. This facial steam should be used immediately and cannot be stored.
