There are many reports on the benefits of smiling and laughter. So by now it is known that smiling and laughter makes you feel better in every way and also it heels illnesses.

There are many reports on the benefits of smiling and laughter. So by now it is known that smiling and laughter makes you feel better in every way and also it heels illnesses.

Something psychologists dispute for years and years is if we are happy because of laughing and smiling or laughing and smiling makes us happy?

Well now they think both are right.

When a person wants to believe she/he is happy this is fulfilled by body language and by showing inner feelings outside. When you go around talking and smiling at people after a while, even if you have problems, even if you feel lousy in the beginning after a while problems don’t seem to exist and you start feeling happy.

So yes we might be happy just because we smile.

Now there is a new meditation technique.

The inward smile.

Try this simple exercise that, if performed regularly, can literally transform your attitude to life.

Imagine, a genuine smile transmits loving energy that has the power to warm and heal. By learning to smile inwardly to your organs and glands, you can make your whole body feel loved and appreciated. This is a very powerful way to counteract stress and tension.

-  Sit on the edge of a chair with your hands clasped and eyes closed.

- Begin the Inner Smile by picturing a radiant, smiling face in front of you.

- Imagine spiraling energy coming into the mid-eyebrow area.

- Slightly lift the corners of your mouth.

- Sense of a coolness in your eyes to attract and absorb the warm energy. Inhale the energy through the mid-eyebrow and spiral it.

- Smile down to the thymus gland and the heart. Feel the heart open with love, joy, and happiness.

- Smile down to all the organs: the lungs, liver, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, and sexual organs and reproductive system. Thank them for their work.

- Return your attention to your eyes. Create a big smile and draw in more spiraling energy.

- Smile down the intestinal tract: the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, bladder, and urethra.

- Return your attention to your eyes. Create a big smile and draw in the spiraling energy.

- Smile to the brain and the pituitary, thalamus, and pineal glands. Smile down the spinal column.

- Return your attention to your eyes.

- Smile down to the whole body.

- Collect the energy in your navel center. Starting at the navel, men should spiral the energy outward in a clockwise direction, making 36 revolutions. Once you have completed the clockwise revolutions, spiral inward in a counterclockwise direction 24 times, ending and collecting the energy at the navel.

Women should make the same action, but begin by spiraling the energy out from the navel in a counterclockwise direction and spiraling back to the navel in a clockwise direction.

Practice this inward smile first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Perform it several times during the day. It can be done almost anywhere—on a bus or train, in the car on the way to and from work, and during meal breaks and quiet times.

Best of all perform it before facing any problematical, difficult or traumatic situation. Your Hidden Self will respond positively.

If this is so much of a work for you, just smile and you will feel happier than you do.
